Explore The Iconic Home

Welcome to The Iconic Home, a virtual showhouse from Architectural Digest and the Black Interior Designers Network. Now in its second installment, this year's edition spotlights the work of 13 leading Black designers, each of whom was tasked with designing a specific room within the residence. The architect, Elizabeth Graziolo, imagined the house as a family home for two fathers—a floral designer and a novelist, and recent transplants to upstate New York—and their young daughter. This year's challenge? Designing with the planet in mind. To that end, you'll find sustainable strategies integrated throughout—from the architecture to the landscape and interiors.
